I was honored to capture the heart and soul of this organization through their events, community partnerships, summer programs, recitals, and other initiatives.Through my time spent with The MusicianShip, I have been truly touched by the music produced by the children. It has been a privilege to witness firsthand how music has the power to bring people together, create positive change, and enrich the lives of young people.

One of the many events I had the honor to capture was the annual DC Funk Parade, which is powered by community contributions and supports free-of-charge music programs for thousands of youth. The Funk Parade is a free, inclusive, cultural event that celebrates the U Street neighborhood funk of Washington D.C. It features art, performance, and reflection on the state of the District of Columbia and its communities, including music, dance, and visual arts. I was also hired to source and organize over 70+ volunteer photographers and camera operators to document the Funk Parade Festival, and it was an incredible experience to see so many talented artists and musicians come together for a common cause.
My work with The MusicianShip is proudly displayed on their webpage, used in their email newsletters, and shared across their social media platforms. I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with this amazing organization and to contribute to their mission to change lives with music.
