Generation Hope: Our Campus, Our Voice

As a marketing photographer, I had the incredible opportunity to work with Generation Hope on their "Our Campus, Our Voice" Challenge. This initiative is dedicated to creating more family-friendly college campuses and investing in the advocacy and leadership of parenting college students, who are often students of color facing racial inequities within higher education.

Through this Challenge, I had the honor of capturing the portraits of Generation Hope Scholars and alumni who received mini-grants to fund their COVID-safe projects, which addressed gaps in support for student parents at their institutions or alma maters. It was an inspiring experience spending time with each of these remarkable individuals and witnessing firsthand the tremendous assets they bring to their campus community.

Not only was I moved by their dedication and passion for making a difference, but also by the impact that Generation Hope is making in the lives of student parents. I am proud to say that my work with Generation Hope is featured prominently on their website and used in their email newsletters, showcasing the amazing work being done by this organization.

Please take a moment to learn more about the "Our Campus, Our Voice" Challenge and Generation Hope's mission to empower student parents and address systemic inequities in higher education. And as you explore their website, be sure to take a look at the portraits and images captured during my time with this incredible nonprofit.
